Dique Oeste which we call the cruisy cove is a rocky inlet. It is about thirty minutes walk from the hotel. Turn right from the hotel and keep on walking until you reach the motorway. Cross over and walk up the road directly opposite. You can sunbathe nude on the rocks and it's very cruisy on top of the cliffs at mid-day and after dark.

Illetas is a fifteen minute bus ride from Plaza Gomila on the No3 bus. There are three bars and three restaurants of various price ranges as well as a "balneario" with massages and tatooing. A good sandy beach.

El Mago - from the Paseo Maritimo take the red/yellow No.106 or No.108 bus to the Palma Nova bus station and then a taxi to the beach (10 Euros). This is a nudist beach and the gays congregate on the rocks to the right. There is an excellent if expensive restaurant. Ask for more directions at reception.

Mini Folies, near Puerto Andratx, is half-an-hour away by car and is rock bathing. Cruisy during the day. Take advantage of some good restaurants in the Port of Andratx. Ask for more directions at reception.

Es Trenc - the most beautiful beach on the island which has not been spoilt with over development. It is very active in the centre amongst the dunes and pine trees at any time of the year. Take the motorway past the airport and continue to Llucmajor and then to Campos. Turn right to Colonia San Jordi. After 10kms you will see the sign to Es Trenc. Follow the narrow road through the salt flats, park the car (5 Euros), walk onto the beach and turn right continuing on to the centre. There is a bar and restaurant, "El Ultimo Paradiso", on the beach which is only open during the summer months.

Hotel Rosamar, whilst not being 100% gay, caters to all and sundry during its hours of 8:30am until 2:00am (1:00am during March and April) The open air garden terrace is the place to start the night at around 10:00pm. To see and be seen! Happy2hours every day with half price drinks from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
Cafe Lorca is open all day with Angel and Curra serving drinks and tapas. Mixed crowd.
Bar Dylan is run by Ian, with a good collection of old movies.
Bar/Sauna Aries opens at 10:00pm until 6:00am and is a very busy bar. Half price drinks every Monday. The sauna opens at 4:00pm to 12 Midnight.
Bar Marcos opens at 10:00pm with Marcos and Javier.
Bar Status opens at 10:00pm. A very well appointed bar with good service and good music catering to an older age group. Pepe and Bernado.
Bar Yuppi opens at 11:00pm with porno movies and dark room. Mixed age group.
Club GE opens at 11:00pm. A leather theme bar. Interesting darkroom downstairs.
Black Cat Disco opens at 12 midnight and has a show at 3.30am. Darkroom downstairs.
Bar Tarantula well appointed bar with darkroom.
Demence Disco opens at weekends and is situated on the trading estate Son Castellon
